Adina Bar-On is a pioneer of performance art in Israel. Active since early 1973, when she was a 3rd year student at the Bezalel Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Jerusalem. She is among world’s most important performance artist’s and precursors of the genre. Over the years, she has presented her work in world`s major art museums and galleries, as well as festivals dedicated to performance art. Making it her business to emphasize her political and social stand she has insistently performed in social and political events.
