Performance Art (or Action Art or Live Art) is a varied, sometimes anarchic, creative form free of many conventions. This site is creating a resource for finding artists and information in all regions and countries in order connect artists, aid research, inform, and inspire artists around the world. The resulting database gives the ability to delve into political, social, and cultural challenging and affecting artists from all over the world. This also offers insight into the form of performance art and how artists incorporate their cultural, historical contexts of the performative to embrace, subvert, and re-invigorate the form.
